Marc brings more than 25 years of experience as a scientist and a senior executive in the biotechnology industry.
Prior to joining Active Biomarkers, Marc was the COO of ENDODIAG in Paris, VP Marketing & Sales at IPSOGEN (now Qiagen) in Marseille, and Director of Business Development at REED-ELSEVIER in Paris.
Throughout his career, Marc successfully developed and commercially launched several products and services, managed an international network of distributors, and contributed to successful M&A and fund raising operations. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from the University of Paris 6 and a Master in Strategic Marketing.
Christine Bain - Scientific Director
Christine brings more than 25 years of experience in immunology and coordination of immune monitoring studies in the context of clinical trials in oncology and infectious diseases. She is now in charge of scientific affairs, from the development of internal R&D programs to the implementation of external collaborative projects with our partners.
Prior to joining Active Biomarkers, Christine conducted research programs in the team of Genevieve Inchauspe, focusing on immuno-pathogenesis of Hepatitis C virus, and coordinated immune-monitoring of Transgene’s clinical studies. Christine holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Lyon.
Cendrine Josson - Director of Operations
Cendrine joined Active Biomarkers in 2013 following the merger of the company with Indicia Biotechnology. She brings more than 20 years of industry experience in method development and management of scientific projects for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. She was notably in charge of the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies such as Luminex® back in 2000, Erenna® (Singulex), and SIMOA® (Quanterix) Immunoassay technologies.
Cendrine holds a Master Degree in Immunotechnology from Aix-Marseille University.
Magali Roche - Ph.D., Sales & Marketing Director
Magali joined Active Biomarkers in December 2020 as Sales & Marketing Director. Magali holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Lyon. Prior to joining Active Biomarkers, she spent several years working in the field of infectious diseases, first as project manager at ViroScan3D, Lyon, and as sales manager at Tecan Genomics, San Francisco, USA, and PathoQuest, Paris.
Isabelle Valerino-Corler - Quality Director
Isabelle has more than 20 years of experience in Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. She participated to the inception of Active Biomarkers by setting up and supporting the Quality Management System which led to the ISO 9001:2015 certification in full compliance with GCLP guidelines.
Isabelle worked 10 years at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Business Unit as European Quality Assurance Manager on cosmetics, medical devices and drug products. She was mainly in charge of supporting R&D teams through technology transfer activities from R&D to plant and contractors, but also R&D Quality process, electronic documentation system development and implementation at local, regional and worldwide levels. Isabelle was also Pilot area manager in charge of scale-up, clinical and stability production batches.
Isabelle holds a master degree in chemistry from the University of Science in Nice –Sophia Antipolis with a specialization in the pharmaceutical industry at the University of pharmacy Lyon Claude Bernard (IPIL).
Laure Veron - Director of Laboratory and Quality Control
Laure has over a decade of experience working in bioanalytical CROs both in Quality Control and Laboratory Management roles. Before joining Active Biomarkers team, Laure worked as a Project Engineer supervising biomarker clinical studies, including assay development and validation at Transgene. She joined Active Biomarkers in 2009 where she has developed and implemented the Quality Control processes, set-up the laboratory and Information Systems in compliance with ISO, GLP and GCLP standards. Laure handles all critical quality control and infrastructure-related topics. She manages a dedicated team of quality control technicians, clinical coordinators and an IT engineer to secure the complete workflow from biological samples to data reporting. Laure holds a Master Degree in Immunotechnology from the University of Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris).
